University of San Agustin annually celebrates University Week every last week of February. This event showcases different talent and creativity of an Augustinian. San Agustin not only promotes education but also talents. It is a whole week event without stress brought by academics.

Foot Parade

Different colleges involve themselves in foot parade as for the opening of U-Week. It allows every student to socialize and meet fellow Augustinian from different college.

Pasiklaband

Pasiklaband is an event where you show your singing talent and everything. It is some kind concert event. You can peacefully sit and enjoy the music from different colleges and support the college where you are in.

Dance Crew

One of the most awaiting event. The energy brought by the dancers are passing through the audience. You can see from contestant that they are giving all their efforts to win and the supporters who give moral support.

Mr. and Ms. USA

The highlight of event is MR. and Ms. USA. Every college has their contestants to present. The gymnasium is filled with students cheering to their contestants with balloons, tarpaulin and horn. You can see that Augustinians really unites and competitive at the same time. No one wants to be left behind, every one of them did their very best to excel in the contest.

Laro ng Lahi

San Agustin still embraces classic games. It is to remind us where we started and we can still enjoy even if it’s an old game.

Salo-salo

Well, salo-salo is like a traditional event to San Agustin. It is where every department from different colleges gather and enjoy their meal on the table without plates, spoon and fork just a leaf of banana serves as a plate. Eating with your friends is truly enjoyable. You can see the laughter and smiles from from everyone.

Pintatao

An event thate an Augustinian showcase her/his talent in art specifically painting where he/she paints to the body of his/her friend. You will be amazed once you saw how their talent speaks.

TGIF

That who aspires to become a fashion designer suits her. A big event where designer showcase their personal collections of gowns.

My favorite place in my school which is University of San Agustin is the library because of thrcollections of books and other informational materials.

A library plays a very important role in promoting the progress of knowledge. There are many people who love reading. But they can’t afford to buy books because the prices of books are very high. Library is particularly useful to students who can’t afford to buy all the books they require for their studies.

It is the heart and soul of a school as it provides lots of information and details that students would require.

Our school has a very large library. There are plenty number of books in the library. We have a librarian who keeps a track of all the books that go in and out of the library. We have an exclusive library period, where we are allowed to go and read books.

The library is usually a very quiet place and it is often seen full with students and teachers refereeing notes that they require for the respective subjects that they are looking out for. There is a separate reading room in the library where students could go and read whatever they like, but maintain silence.

Lots of knowledge could be acquired from a library and our school library has a great collection of books, which makes this a lot easier for students to gather information.I like my library very much and I love spending time reading books, sitting in the reading room. It is so quiet that one could really enjoy reading and also study peacefully and learn a lot of great things in the world.

Family holds a special place in everyone’s life. I love my family and can do anything for my family members. They have given me so much love and affection and have made me who I am today. I love my family more than anyone in this world. Their happiness means a lot to me and I can do anything to keep them all happy. They love and care me a lot and never let me go anywhere alone. They always remain with me in my all ups and downs. They teach me morals, etiquettes, values and importance of relationships in human life. They are strong supporter, ideal and role model of my life.

My mother keeps the entire house neat and clean. She organizes everything so well that we don’t have to waste our time looking for things. She also shops for us and takes us out to park and malls. She loves us dearly and takes care of all our needs.

My father works very hard to ensure we live comfortably. He spends time playing with us on the weekends and at times also during the evening hours. I really look forward to our weekend outings with him.

My home is filled with love and laughter. My parents and grandparents have taught me to share and care and live cordially with everyone. This is a great life lesson and I am sure it will help me do well personally as well as professionally as I grow.
